The Paw Park is an off-leash play area for dogs and their owners
located in Barrington, Rhode Island. Dogs (like people) are social
animals and the park is an enclosed, safe environment where dogs
can be with other dogs.
Well-socialized dogs are generally calmer and exhibit more
predictable behavior both at home and in public. The park is also an
ideal place for dogs to burn off excess energy, for as we all know....
..... a tired dog is a good dog!
The park was the dream of our friend, Kimberly
Perrott, who worked tirelessly with friends,
neighbors and town officials towards establishing
the park. Sadly, Kimberly passed away in 2005
before construction of the park could be completed.
